Revisit Sean Manion, PhD and Yael Bizouati-Kennedy’s book “Blockchain for Medical Research: Accelerating Trust in Healthcare” in the context of COVID-19 with new interviews.

Blockchain for Medical Research discussed using new tech to speed up the time it takes to get new evidence medicine to people in order to improve health outcomes for all.  The vision outlined “faster medical miracles” and a framework for a system to achieve these advances. Inside are also interviews with some of the top minds from medicine, science and tech.

Then, COVID-19 hit and the world needed it much faster than anticipated.

Revisit these ideas and framework in the context of COVID-19, while the authors re-interview some of the same top experts to understand what has changed and how these emerging tech tools are being used to help the pandemic.
