Former Cambia Health Solutions Innovation Executive Tapped To Accelerate Global Market Growth
New York, NY, March 18, 2020–ConsenSys Health announced today that Nicole Cathcart will run their marketing and sales organization, focused on bringing the company’s range of blockchain and machine learning products to healthcare and life sciences organizations across the globe.

Ms. Cathcart was previously Director of Innovation at Cambia Health Solutions, parent company for Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield and co-investor for Echo Health Ventures. In her tenure at Cambia Health Solutions, she developed deep expertise in financial infrastructure of the healthcare system and consumer healthcare behavior. She also co-founded and led marketing, product and design for the first generation for MedSavvy.com, a consumer-facing pharmaceutical transparency product with a patent-pending drug effectiveness rating algorithm leading product.
Her work in blockchain began in 2016 with participation in the Blockchain Innovation Challenge sponsored by the Office of the National Coordinator at the U.S. Health and Human Services Department, where she co-authored a white paper with Max Janasik explicating fundamental first use cases in healthcare. Since then, she developed a quantitative framework for evaluating use cases within the U.S. payer space.
Previously, Ms. Cathcart was Vice President of Digital at Thompson Media Group, managing all digital marketing, product, events and creative services departments with a focus on digital transformation of process and product. As Vice President of Marketing and Sales at The Performance Institute from 2005-2010, she led branding the organization as a top performance management think tank, positioning the company for acquisition.
Ms. Cathcart has also worked extensively as a marketing consultant for clients looking to launch new consumer-facing experiences and products, with clients including Global Marketing at ExxonMobil, Personal.com (now Digi.me), and Federally-Qualified Health Center One Community Health. She holds a MA in Communications from The Johns Hopkins University and a BA from Loyola University New Orleans.
